Intoxicating Life

Once there was a lonely girl and, although she was surrounded by many, she had no real friends and no one to talk to.  She lived her life in total solitude and despair.  She endured this existence for years and quite a lot of people, including herself, thought that she would live this way forever.  Until one day she met a very handsome and charming boy.  The boy treated the girl the only way he knew how; and this was very different than what she was used to.  He listened to every word she said; he did anything she asked of him; he loved her with all his heart.  The boy gave himself completely to the girl and this made her feel like a princess.  She felt so wonderful and happy and all the things she had never felt before.  She was so overjoyed that at times she started to feel as if she didn’t deserve this new love-filled life.  But every time the doubts crept into her mind, he was there always to comfort her and assuage her fears.  He brought her solace; she gave him confidence; they nurtured each other.  And so they lived and matured and evolved.  And the boy and the girl grew into a man and a woman and they lived their lives together in complete ecstacy.  They relished every blissful second in each other’s company.  And with one another’s help the man and the woman made a life so joyful, so pleasurable, so gratifying, that they felt as though they lived an intoxicating life.  And the euphoria continued for eternity…
