Interesting

Isn’t it interesting how, for the last week, the major news coverage has been about Michael Jackson?  Don’t get me wrong, it is sad that he died and how he (allegedly) died.  Yes he did a lot for the music world.  But seriously, is he more important than what’s going on in China?  Than what’s (still) going on in Iran?  Than everything going on in North Korea?  Than what’s going on in our very own country?  Hmmm… Maybe this is the reason that the great USofA is not as great as we are led to believe (and as most citizens of this country actually believe)? 

Maybe if we didn’t pay our actors and athletes and musicians millions of dollars we’d be in much better shape (not just financially) than we are today…
